How many times have you sat in conferences just listening to people
reading their papers and having no opportunity to get actively
involved? We too have suffered from such frustration so in our
TNTEE Conference in Lisbon we intend to do something to change
it! All the papers, discussion documents and material for workshops
will be made available to conference delegates on the TNTEE conference
web-site already in April 1999. Discussion pages will also be
set up and the authors will raise some points of interest/concern
to them arising from their work. You as a delegate will also be
invited to pose questions and raise issues. The de-bate will thus
hopefully have begun even before we meet at the conference. Sessions
there may thus primarily be concerned with explanation, development
and discussion of the issues raised, and our intention is to produce
outcomes of use and value to the participants and to provide relevant
information, advice and queries for those who will have the task
of setting the agenda for Teacher Education in the next century,
through a 'Green Paper' which will be one of the outcomes of the
conference.
Join
us, both on the web and in Lisbon and make your voice heard!
