The Bologna Process Website
This website is operated by the Benelux Bologna Secretariat, which supports the Bologna Process in the run-up to the next Ministerial Conference, which will take place on 28-29 April 2009 at the universities of Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve.
On this website you will find information about:

  • the Bologna Process in general;
  • the latest developments concerning the creation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), including relevant events;
  • the 46 participating countries, their higher education systems, Bologna reforms, as well as relevant Bologna documents in the respective languages (where available);
  • the participating organisations and their contributions to the Bologna Process (as provided on their own websites);
  • official documents of the Bologna Process.

The British Education Index
office in Leeds University Library provides a number of information services relevant to the work of researchers, policy makers and practitioners in the fields of education and training. Five services are provided at the website:

  • The British Education Index is a subscription database of information about UK literature which supports educational research, policy and practice, alerting interested parties to the existence and availability of useful reading matter.
  • The British Education Internet Resource catalogue is a freely accessible database of information about professionally evaluated and described internet sites which support educational research, policy and practice.
  • The Education Conference Programme Service presents freely searchable programmes and event archives for conferences of organisations which sponsor the service on behalf of their delegates and organisation members.
  • The Education Conference Listings Service presents a freely accessible calendar for education and training related conferences as notified by their organisers and giving information about conference locations, content and contact details.
  • Education-line is a freely accessible database of the full text of conference papers, working papers and electronic literature which supports educational research, policy and practice.

Electronic journal, or "e-journal"
is a term often used for those journals and newsletters that are prepared and distributed electronically. Some traditional journals are now being published both on the WWW and in print. Current issues or content lists may be available on the WWW or distributed to subscribers as an e-mail text message.
