Prof.
Dr. Friedrich Buchberger (borne 1949) is working as head of the
departrnent of comparative education at Paedagogische Akademie
des Bundes in Upper Austria (Linz) and at the institute of educational
sciences at Karl Franzens University Graz. His specializations
are (i) comparative education (teacher education), (ii) science
of teaching and didactics, and (iii) methodology of higher education.

curriculum development, open distance learningr) with more than
40 European universities.
